RPA - Results, Purpose and Action

The RPA Planning Process is a proven system for taking anything you can envision and making it real.

R - "What do we want? What is our Result? What is the result we are committed to achieving?"
P - "Why are we doing what we're doing? What is the Purpose? What will it give us emotionally, physically and psychologically? We must know why we are going after it so that if our first plan or attempt fails, we have the necessary drive to follow through."
A - "Action plan. What must we do in order to achieve this specific result?"

This will aid us to develop a results-focused, purpose driven, action-oriented plan for our days, weeks, months  and years.

quote: The major reason for setting a goal is for what it makes of you to accomplish it.
What it makes of you will always be the far greater value than what you get. "Jamie McIntyre"

Lets all participate to fill in these fields.

we cannot control the things life does to us. They are done before you know it. And when they are done, they make you do other things. Until at last everything comes between you and the man you wanted to be.

Re: RPA - Results, Purpose and Action

Here is my input as part of this discussion, as I see it.

R - "What do we want? What is our Result? What is the result we are committed to achieving?"

At this stage:
A property with fully functioning self-development community:
Natural sustainable living with abundant food garden and fresh clean water.
    Natural sustainable energy sources.
Working computer server and intranet system with webspace for community organisation.
A harmonious, wholesome, joyous community devoted to excellence.
Specific building design for various functions such as training halls, libraries and study areas, community food and entertainment spaces and private quarters.
Events and Activities at the location. Travel abroad, exploration of the local area, journeys of various kinds (in skills, knowledge, character growth, discussions, group projects etc.)
    and so on....

P - "Why are we doing what we're doing? What is the Purpose? What will it give us emotionally, physically and psychologically? We must know why we are going after it so that if our first plan or attempt fails, we have the necessary drive to follow through."

To attain what is considered the ultimate dreams of our lives. To become who we really want to become. To aid the world in it's transition into a Wisdom Culture.

A - "Action plan. What must we do in order to achieve this specific result?"

What I see to be the main next steps:

Work through and sort out the business structure.

Establish community organisation and operation towards our community goals.

As individuals, gain strength and stability in our evolutionary lifestyles in order to aid the development of the Village.

I agree with Todd's response to this.

P - "Why are we doing what we're doing? What is the Purpose? What will it give us emotionally, physically and psychologically? We must know why we are going after it so that if our first plan or attempt fails, we have the necessary drive to follow through."

-To have freedom from loosing time in gathering resources for basic survival, by having those resources all available in one location, in abundance without a price tag so as to maximize time and energy available for training in self-improvement.
-To live amongst a support group that lends more energy into each persons training in self-improvement than might be there on one's own.
-To offer goods and services of the highest quality, to the greater community.
-To revive ascension programs of the ancients. Ascension programs provide one with tools and guidance in deconstructing oneself. That is to say, identifying adopted character traits and working on oneself (habit changing practices) to dissolve them ('tame the heart': Chinese translation). Finally what is left is the face one had before being born. Not just born this time around but ever born. Those with this ambition face a race condition between deconstructing oneself and dying before completing the process. To account for this, ascension programs also offer practices for developing longevity, physical endurance and super natural abilities (all together these practices are known as 'internal alchemy' though this term may be used in other ways as well). This gives the person a better chance at surviving for a longer time against aging/disease, also the ability to endure natural elements while living in the wild, plus the facility of psychic powers to protect themselves in conflicts against aggressors like beasts and bandits and to make their lodgings in inaccessible regions where they won't be in danger of being attacked or disturbed in their practices such as a cave on the side of a cliff.

A - "Action plan. What must we do in order to achieve this specific result?"

Engage in individual and team projects which bring about both the foundation of the Village goal and its products and services.

Re: RPA - Results, Purpose and Action

While this is a good start to a strategy outline, it seems the forum is bulging and growing in various ways a lot lately...

I propose an overhaul of the forum. I think we can organize the forum much more simply and efficiently. See this topic for my proposed plan and to have your vote.

Re: RPA - Results, Purpose and Action

If the project of a new web space is going ahead, this is my role in the project of developing the server.
It is the 14th of December today, that gives me just over 2 weeks to complete it.
The steps are:

Layout.
Functionality.
Transplanting from this forum.
Testing and revising.
Opening.

This post explains my reasoning behind needing changes.

Re: RPA - Results, Purpose and Action

If you want to set up a new style forum, similar to this one but with "rounded edges" on the website, I am for that, but I think the forum layout is superior for community communication then blogs which are better for individual reporting.
